Summer is heating up! We had a busy July with NVP Demo Day, signing new customers, getting a new investor onboard (the City of Elk Grove), and launching our new product: Track - Equipment. Read on to learn more about our July success and upcoming events!

P.S. Like the new look? We are currently rebranding with a new look and feel. The website is getting a facelift, too!

Investor Spotlight

New Investor: the City of Elk Grove, CA!

The City of Elk Grove (in California, where our headquarters is located) granted us $75,000 as part of their effort to stimulate and foster a more entrepreneurial economy. We continue to work out of their city-sponsored co-working space Innogrove, but with the help of the grant, we look to expand our headquarters and hire local talent.

Product Updates

Load it up! Track - Equipment is a go!

Our Product Development Team worked their magic yet again with the launching of our new product: Track - Equipment. With all the functions of our other Track solutions, Track - Equipment goes a step further adding custom fields and event triggers for equipment tracking. Users can track all types of equipment including: container, chassis, trailer, rack and more.

The Track - Equipment solution automatically updates the location of the equipment when it is associated to a shipment. With this new capability, you can minimize Per Diem fees/charges, monitor Last Free Day, improve Utilization of Equipment, and more. In the screenshot below, you can see the “Equipment” options we added to our “Create a Shipment” form in the Command Console.

By far, one of the biggest advantages to the Track - Equipment solution is the low overall cost. There is no expense monthly payment per sensor. The system simply maintains the location based on delivery data. Using Track - Equipment our customers will be alerted if "Last Free Day" is about to expire and/or if their equipment is being underutilized.
